The all-electric version of Chevrolet's best-selling model, the Silverado, was introduced earlier this year. Among the many variants of the legendary pickup, one will be powered by a fully-electric powertrain, adding a new chapter to its distinguished history. Here's what we can expect from the 2024 Chevy Silverado EV.

Powered by the Ultium technology platform, the Silverado EV will have a 200 kWh battery that should give it a range of close to 600 kilometers. Four-wheel drive will be provided by two electric motors. The base Silverado EV will produce 510 horsepower, but certain variants may produce 664.

It has the capacity to tow 10,000 pounds while payload is rated at 1,300 pounds. The company plans to offer a model that can tow 20,000 pounds. On a DC fast charger, the Silverado EV can add 160 kilometers of range in 10 minutes thanks to its advanced architecture.

GM understands that truck buyers want as many options as possible when choosing their next vehicle. In the same way as the gas-powered Silverado, the EV model will also be available in several versions. It will be available in WT (Work Truck) and Trail Boss variants, as well as a sporty RST. There will be many pleasant surprises as we move from one version to another. Rear steerable wheels, adaptive air suspension, optional 24-inch wheels, locking rear differentials, all-terrain tires, driving modes.. These are just some of the features expected in the 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV. Give us a call today to learn more!
